One of the cornerstones of success for our senior care franchises is being able to constantly expand to new territories and broaden our list of cities to which we provide service. We want to cover as much of the map as possible with professional senior caregivers, so that no matter what community you live in, or what part of the country, our clients know that they can rely on Senior Helpers. It also gives us great pleasure to know that any community that hosts a Senior Helpers senior care franchise can also benefit from increased job openings. This is why we’re especially happy to announce our recent expansion to Arlington VA, and the addition of over 50 new jobs in the community.
Senior Helpers, Arlington, VA
This March, Senior Helpers announced the official opening of its new Arlington-Alexandria location, which will be managed and operated by Bella D. Desai. Our newest senior care franchise will serve seniors and their families in Arlington and Alexandria Counties, from Rosslyn and North Glebe Road to Bailey’s Crossroads and all the way down to Huntington/Franconia and Mt. Vernon.
Over the next year, Desai plans to bring more than 50 new jobs to the community. The professionally-trained caregivers of our senior care franchise are equipped to help local seniors continue to age in the comfort of their own homes, despite age-related illnesses and mobility challenges that might otherwise be considered obstacles.
Desai says, “after seeing the full spectrum of caregivers helping my grandmother, I was drawn to Senior Helpers by its focus on specialized caregiver training in Alzheimer’s, dementia, and now, Parkinson’s disease care. My team is proud to support our community by helping alleviate the stress associated with caregiving and ensure a better quality of life for families through personalized in-home senior care.”
Regardless of the community being served, every Senior Helpers senior care franchise operates with the aim of being the leading home care company in the area. The caregivers at the Arlington-Alexandria location are fully trained and certified in accordance with the company’s Senior Gems® Alzheimer’s and Dementia care program. The gold standard for excellence in personalized in-home senior care, these programs were developed with the assistance of nationally-recognized dementia care expert Teepa Snow, OTR/L, of Positive Approach, LLC (www.teepasnow.org) and is endorsed by the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. Residents in every Senior Helpers territory will also benefit from the company’s Parkinson’s Care Program, a specialized training program for caregivers created in conjunction with the Parkinson’s Foundation’s Centers of Excellence network.
Senior Helper CEO Peter Ross is “pleased to welcome Bella to our team as the newest Senior Helpers franchise owner. Bella brings a passion for her community and an understanding of the importance of in-home senior care. This will serve her well and be rewarding for seniors and families living in Arlington and the surrounding area.”
We are enthusiastic to watch Bella succeed in Arlington, and to do whatever we can to help her along the way.
