As with any new business, starting a senior care franchise comes with a lot of factors that must be considered before jumping into the opportunity. You might have several concerns about franchising, questions that need answering, and uncertainties about what exactly lies ahead. Senior Helpers tries to be as transparent as possible by clearly outlining the expectations of franchise ownership, what kinds of qualifications are (and aren’t) required, and what you can expect financially.
The Small Investment
Before starting your own senior care franchise with us, you should be fully aware of the investment. We keep our initial startup costs relatively low, and they usually fall between $103,300 and $142,300, including the franchise fee, staffing funds, and three months of working capital. Franchisees with good credit scores are usually able to finance their startup costs, and veterans and first responders have even more financing options available, in addition to our 10% discount.
Compared to other senior care franchise systems, we’re proud to keep Senior Helpers incredibly cost-effective and affordable. You won’t have to worry about many of the innumerable obstacles and uncertainties of starting a business from scratch, and can look forward to entering a proven turnkey model designed for success.
No Healthcare Experience Necessary
If it's your first time owning a new business, you might be wondering if it’s necessary to have prior experience in your franchise field. Well, don’t worry. For most of our franchisees, it’s their first time in the healthcare space. Our franchisees come from a diverse range of backgrounds, with varying degrees of experience. If you’ve got a strong entrepreneurial spirit and can take the initiative to learn the ins and outs of a new industry, you will be a successful addition to the Senior Helpers team. Whether you’ve had personal experience with a loved one that sparked a passion for elder care, or simply an appreciation of the lucrative opportunity that exists in the senior care franchise industry, franchisees are drawn to Senior Helpers for a variety of reasons. Check out our testimonials page to hear what our current franchisees are saying.
Training and Support
Because we don’t expect you don’t know everything, we offer a suite of comprehensive training and support options for new franchisees. It’s important to us to help our franchisees succeed through ongoing training, professional development, and our network of trained support staff who are always on hand.
We make sure that franchise owners have access to our educational training program called Senior Helpers University. SHU is designed to prepare new franchisees for the many details of running a senior care franchise.
But our training doesn’t end there. Maintaining ongoing franchisee support and education is a priority for us, so we also offer continued access to webinars, conference calls, and other educational media.
